Summit on Infrastructure 2019

Jul 30 - 31, 2019
Pittsburgh, PA

Overview

The national infrastructure landscape has never been more fertile – at least at the state and local level! States, cities and counties are taking responsibility to develop creative and innovative approaches to funding and financing critical infrastructure while also investing in performance-driven, smart, and future-ready projects in transportation, transit, water, energy, and social infrastructure.
The infrastructure challenge is massive, and one way forward is through better intergovernmental collaboration and cross-sector partnerships. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet with transportation officials, water experts, policy makers, state and local decision makers and industry leaders at Governing’s 2019 Summit on Infrastructure to explore what the next iteration of infrastructure should look like and how to get there.
This is the premier Summit on Infrastructure for those who want to be part of the solution for reinvesting in and rebuilding American infrastructure. We invite you to be part of the solution!

Session Topics May Include:

  • What Does Smart Mobility Mean for Urban Transportation and Economic Development?
  • Hell or High Water: Developing a Sustainable Integrated Management Plan for Water
  • Building Resilient and Environmentally Supportive Utilities
  • Moving Forward without the Federal Government: The View from Local Government
  • Building Collaboration & Trust for Financing Projects: The Private Sector and Local Finance Officers
  • Connecting the Last Mile: High Speed Internet for Rural America
